We are proud of the success that our clients at the England and Wales Cricket Board achieved at the 2017 UK Sponsorship Awards. The awards have been running for over 20 years and celebrate the strongest partnerships and innovations across the entire of the sponsorship industry.
This year marked Two Circles’ first entries into the ceremony, after the launch of a new Rights Holder category which recognises innovations in the ways that rights holders deploy their inventory and maximise commercial return.
Two Circles’ new and proprietary approach to valuing and packaging digital sponsorship rights for the ECB triumphed in the Rights Holder category, and was also recognised with ‘highly commended’ in the Innovation in Sponsorship category. Our work with Southampton F.C. was also recognised with a place on the shortlist.
The ECB’s winning entry detailed how, in partnership with Two Circles, they completely overhauled their approach to sponsorship by rebuilding its operations around digital, transforming its offering to partners, and providing fans with a much improved content experience.
Commenting on the win, Gareth Balch, Chief Executive at Two Circles said: “This work is a great example of how rights holders can maximise their digital assets to provide greater value to their partners whilst giving fans what they want. We are delighted that the team at the England and Wales Cricket Board has been recognised for their innovation in a rapidly changing market. We’re in the fifth year of our partnership with the ECB, which is continuing to go from strength to strength as we work together on different projects across the organisation.”
